One of my favorite off of Malcos' new album, Electronic Reality (available now!!!), "Honesty" is seriously catchy as hell. This thing grooves with fun vocals, bouncy synth lines, arpeggios, and a bassline that's bringing up memories of Sonic from the 16-bit days. Killer.

This album is a super-catchy/hooky RnB/electronica concoction. Malcos' smooth vocals, beats, and synth riffs come together for his third album on Protagonist. Don't miss it. Take a listen.

This is an interesting, kinda industrial, IDM-ish track that starts out a bit scatter-brained, but soon gets into a groove with a catchy synth line and progression, plus a big, heavy beat. Sounds a bit like some 16-bit videogame music updated by Justice. Check out this Cryptovariable track.

Newcomer Sectra is apparently a 14 year old! This is a pretty solid atmospheric track that eventually busts out a heavy dubstep beat and bassline.

Very cool! Syron has remixed the Hollidayrain track Deep Introspection (featured previously on Protagonist) into a really groovy, jazzy, and epic housey/trancy concoction. Love that Kenny G sax. It works.

I'm happy to let you folks know that the next couple months will be full of some kickass album and EP releases. Very shortly, we'll have some details on a new release from Malcos coming up inside of August, then my (SGX!)new album, Wonderful Bite will be on it's way, and THEN prolific guest releaser Hollidayrain will be rocking us with a new EP.

Pyroshock, the man whose artist name rhymes with Bioshock (how about that Bioshock: Infinite trailer, all you gamers out there?!), comes at us with a tight jam. Nothing terribly complicated going on here, but a solid, broken beat, buzzing bassline (an SGX favorite), piano, and intricate synth line. Good, groovin', atmospheric stuff. This track is off Pyroshock's pay-what-you-like EP An Integral Part. Check it out.
